Hola! Welcome to Mexico City Taqueria. This is a family business. My husband, Francisco, is the chef and I manage the kitchen and help customers. We have worked in the restaurant industry for 13 years, and we decided to open a Mexican restaurant to share authentic Mexican food with people because it can be hard to find in the area.

Our food is made the way we cook at home. Everything is fresh, very authentic, the way my mother used to cook. I grew up watching her cook and many of our recipes come from her. Everything is made from scratch - nothing is prepackaged, frozen, or commercially prepared. Everything is made with the original ingredients, like our tacos and burritos. Our guacamole, salsa, rice, beans, and fresh chips are also homemade.

We wanted the food to be like what you would find in Mexico City. We make tacos al pastor and tacos de carnitas with just the right blend of ingredients to give authentic flavor. We have great homemade salsas and I can blend in extra hot peppers to make them spicy. However, our food is not spicy unless you want it to be.
